Okay, I am trying to think of a word, and it's almost right there, and it is DRIVING ME INSANE.

What's another word for a petitioner? Like the commoner who comes to the king to beg a favor? Not supplicant, though.

(It's to the point where I'm wondering if the stupid word I want exists at all.)
