(no subject)

Went to the dermatologist today and had my moles checked (all clear!), my acne looked at (three prescriptions! I have Demonic Acne From the Fourth Dimension!), and this weird thing next to my nose cut off (a fibrous tumoid? Or something. Though apparently it's described as a "pearly pink" whatchamacallit. Nothing to worry about, just annoying).

I've had acne since the fourth grade, and the only thing that's cleared it up so far is pregnancy. And since that's not something I plan to do again, we turn to the Wonderful World of Science. Now I have a face wash, a gel, and an antibiotic I have to take for three months, because apparently there are three or four different things going on with my skin. Plus the slight rash on my scalp and the sunburn where I part my hair that I was unaware of.**

So later today I will drop off all my prescriptions and get all this stuff together so I can begin my new assault on my blemishes.

In other news, we leave for North Carolina in a week, and I have to get us packed and ready to go, including getting my car battery checked because it half-died and now the electrical system is acting sluggish. Whee!

And eventually I need to post my landscaping adventures, but that's not quite now. :)

**I have been told by a doctor to wear a hat when outside. So I can go and get myself a cute floppy hat to add to my collection on doctor's orders!
