fangirl freakout!

Fingers crossed, fingers crossed, please give me a DVD I can watch ...

I've seen David Tennant as something other than the Doctor, so this isn't entirely a Doctor Who fangirl freakout. He's a good actor and I'd like to see his Hamlet.

But, yes, there's also Doctor Who fangirling in there, too. C'mon.

at least we can take walks after dinner now.

Seriously, Daylight Savings Time in March?

My kid finally settled down for sleep at 9:30 last night. Which, if you consider DST, was actually his usual bedtime of 8:30.

So, hey, we finally got him on a strict schedule! Woo-freaking-hoo!

This morning he was up at his usual time without considering DST, so with any luck we can get him down at 8:30 according to the clock.

I remember hating the adjustment the last time, too.

Yeesh.

I have no idea how to change a font color for one word, though.

I started House of Leaves yesterday.

I got creeped out within the first three pages. I'm talking find-a-wall-and-put-your-back-to-it-so-the-EVIL-can't-sneak-up-on-you kind of creeped out. I haven't actually done that--put my back against a wall to read--since ... oh, the 7th grade.

As I continue, this feeling of creeping dread has not abated.

So thus far, I am impressed.
