Mostly due to my being, apparently, a slacker fangirl.
Day 09 – A Who-Related Photo That Makes You Angry/SadHuh? Really, unless it's the Doctor kicking a puppy, I'm not sure how this would happen in the first place.
Day 10 – A Who-Related Photo That You TookI think the closest I might come to a Who-related photo would be a picture of the Zweeble while he was playing being the Doctor, but there's no real telling that he's doing so--he runs a lot in general, so that's no indication.
Day 11 – Your Favourite Season (Classic or New)Season 4, with Donna. Oh my gosh, it really does hit all my story-buttons in the right way.
Okay,
Doctor Who is not science fiction, to me. It's science fantasy. It's huge and epic, but also has gorgeous small bits. I love the hilariousness that covers the dark things, and I love the creepiness that pairs with the wild adventure. I dig time travel. I like funny heroes with sarcastic sidekicks, loyalty on both sides, and
joy.
So, yeah. Every season of the new
Doctor Who has had that. So what makes season 4 for me?
Agatha Christie. A library the size of a planet. A companion my age. Friends of the opposite sex with no romance who seem to be having a great time. Ancient freaking Rome. The Doctor correcting the villain's grammar. Clom (who would want Clom?) and the lost moon of Poosh. The Shadow Proclamation. That crazy-ass, over the top, can you write fan fiction for your own show season finale. And Donna and the extra Doctor "Aowww"-ing each other.
Plus, as I've said before, it kills me at the end.
And now I'm going to go watch the last episode of this season, and
