I like semi-colons; what is your point?

Got my laptop back today; did a lot of grading; read an interview that cemented my suspicion that if I ever have that mythical dinner party with three famous people, Brad Pitt will be someone I invite; got asked by my husband why I was so freaking happy today; and now I'm going to look at a really old story and see if I can make it better before sending it to a new (to me) venue.

I have a bunch of stuff I want to blog about--e-readers, the Strange Horizons funding drive, and some other stuff I don't remember right now--but it will have to wait until later tonight or tomorrow.

Strange Horizons is having its annual fund drive.

If you'll recall, earlier this year they published my story, "Items Found In a Box Belonging to Jonas Connolly." I was (and still am) totally stoked to have a story there, because SH is pretty darn cool. They print quality work--click on the link, and you can see the names of some of the amazing authors they've published.

The staff for SH is volunteers, so the donations go to site overhead and paying their authors. So if you have a little money to spare, and if you liked my story or any of the other stories on their site, donate!
