1. What is the soundtrack for this LJ?

The TV in the other room, and/or the Zweeble's bedroom mobile. Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart in that weird baby-music that isn't actual music and isn't quite a music box. Seriously, why don't they just use an actual recording of an orchestra for baby products that play classical music?

2. What's bothering you right now?

Well, that they don't use a recording of an orchestra in my kid's mobile. And I'm a little ticked at the A/C repairman.

3. Do you close the door when you are sleeping?

Not unless we have company.

4. What is in your wallet?

Way too many things to list--driver's license, various and sundry insurance cards, discount cards, business cards. A Buffy Christmas tag from a present Scott got me years ago.

5. Wallpaper on your computer's desktop?

The Zweeble pouting in his car seat. ("Achilles, sulking in his tent--READ A BOOK!")

6. Background on your cell phone?

The Zweeble, approximately ten minutes after he was born. Scott took the picture with the phone and made it the wallpaper. I don't know if he left it to be a surprise or if he forgot to tell me he did it, but I was totally touched that he did.

7. Next time you will kiss someone?

Whenever Scott wants one or wanders by, or I pick the baby up.

It was drawn--it's from the Courtney Crumrin comics by Ted Niafeh.

Green and bloodshot, I'm sure.

Geting my hair done, spending the day at the parents', watching the boyo get spoilt, and then stremlining our computers.

Shorts, purple t-shirt, underwear.

Erin, last year sometime. My new phone doesn't have texting enabled.

Does "lots of money" count as one thing?

The TV in the other room, and the baby occasionally making noises in his crib.

Um ... yes, actually. One I'm vaguely embarrassed by (and that one ain't on LJ so far as I know), and the other makes me smile.

18. What do you smell like?

Baby spit up, nowadays. I wear ginger verbena perfume, if I'm going out.

19. Eating?

Is good. I had Burger King for dinner tonight.

20. Favorite thing on your bed:

Clean sheets.

I do, indeed.

"Chanel #5." ;)

23. Do you remember your dreams?

I do. Lately they aren't much to relate or remember, but I do remember my dreams quite often.

I do that burn and then tan thing--one thing I'm grateful to have inherited from my father.

25. Have you ever been gambling?

We walked through a casino to get to a Faith Hill concert that Scott was at for work, and I tried a slot machine. I couldn't figure out how it was supposed to work, and it seemed really kind of pointless. That was as far as I got with the gambling. Aside from the lottery.

26. What's something you wish you could understand better?

Finances. Like, investing and stuff.

27. What did you do last weekend?

Went to lunch with Scott while my parents babysat. Went through my clothes and tossed the maternity wear.

28. Who do you miss?

My grandfather. I wish he were here to meet the baby. Plus, now that I'm older I have things I wish I could ask him.

They're both okay.

Yup. C'mon, my husband's on my friends list!

I don't like the texture of tomatoes, so I don't eat them, per se. I eat tomato products, though.

A Coke.

My own.

A friend who'd just had a baby.

You mean "like" him like him? Yeah. I also just like a lot of people.

Out of the three, jeans. But shorts more than that.

Well, whatever it was, it was with Scott ... The Fountain? Oh, wait, I watched The Dark Crystal, technically with the baby.

Water, Coke, Sprite.

Um ... well, the baby keeps grinning at me, and that's pretty awesome.

No.

Scott. Who else would be allowed to slap my butt? And who else would want to?

Burger King to get dinner.

47. What's on your mind right now?

Laundry and a shower.

48. Have you cried recently?

Yes ... but I have always cried easily. Now that I have a kid and the attendant hormones, I cry at just about anything.

Scott. Don't tell.

50. Is taking a shower a daily habit?

It is now--I smell like baby spit-up all the time! Used to be every other day unless I got really sweaty and gross. But life is very different now ...
