I actually wound up watching the rest of that "Celebrity Rehab" and the one after it, so I know that Jeff Conaway was in the wheelchair because of serious chronic back pain, which probably helped lead to the rehab.
I will likely never watch this show again--not because it's horrible, exactly. This is not the same thing as, say, "Scott Baio is 49 and Single/Pregnant" or even "The Real World." This show, like the two episodes of "Breaking Bonaduce" I saw, is about people I kind of recognize dealing with their serious issues (or not dealing with them, but the audience can still see them), and ... I don't think I should be watching that. I know they agreed to have the cameras there, but I felt like I was invading their privacy.
It was really nice to see Kenicke doing some yoga stretches and being able to walk down the hall--he seemed so pleased that he got to sleep in his bed.
