This weekend, the Zweeble has a sleepover at his grandparents' house.
I fully expect to feel awful most of the way home without him. But the siren song of sleeping until 8am ... I think that will make it better. And a day without diaper changes will be sweet.
My mother is making plans like a head of state is coming to stay. I currently have the playpen out and a pile of clothes that need to go in a bag.
In other news, the sinus infection hideousness is mostly gone, but I keep coughing at night. And Lost was pretty good last night--I found it annoying to begin with, (seriously, how many times can we do the hostile-strangers-with-their-own-group-tensions-our-heroes-need-to-figure-out thing? Though Sayid is, as always, highly adaptable to whatever situation he's in; the freighter people are going to be *really* mad that Fred or Frank or whatever his name is brought him on board when they figure out Sayid's kick-assitude. Also, in terms of story and character and the show in general, the main freighter people work for me--they're being introduced well and integrated in smoothly, and they move the plot; in terms of watching the show and being into the stories, every single one of them irritates the snot out of me. Which means I'm reacting to them like they're real, which is a good thing. Kind of.) but it paid off. I didn't realize I'd invested in Desmond and Penelope, but there I was smiling when they talked on the phone. By god, they better get to see each other in person and kiss, or I will be angry. They already killed Charlie, dammit! And on that note, shouldn't Claire be a little sadder? But whatever--after last week, I think it's abvious she's going to get some story in the future, so maybe we'll see her mourn a bit.
