Awww - I wish I could've tried the mushroom pie. That sounds way good. I do loves me some mushrooms.
It doesn't surprise me that baking isn't Scott's thing. It seems to be pretty common that those who bake can't/won't cook, and vice-versa. The thing I hate so much about baking is how precise everything is, and you can't just doctor or make things up as you go along. There's no fun in it for just that reason (and, well, I don't eat many sweets, so I don't get all that excited about the finished product).
One of these days I'll write about when Erin and Amy came to my place for Thanksgiving that one year. I don't remember a whole lot about it now though. Erin probably remembers it way better than I do. :)
