seldneiA friend of ours had a baby girl yesterday (or, well, his wife did), so today the Zweeble and I are heading out to find her something red as a present. Red was the Zweeble's favorite color for the first weeks of his life, and I think he still has a soft spot for it, so we thought that would be good.**
So this means I have to put on some real clothes, do something with my hair, get the boyo together, and probably spend fifteen minutes examining the car seat for spiders (my nemesis is still at large, by the way). On the plus side, carrying the big bag--as I have always been wont to do--means I can just toss some diapers and wipes and a binky into it and go; no hassling with the diaper bag.
It's a little sad, isn't it, how excited I am to go to Target ...
**babies are actually attracted to really bright colors when they're first born, particularly red. So sayeth the baby book.
