Interpol, Show Boat, and Buddy Rich ...

... [livejournal.com profile] doggiesushi, I think you have achieved your goal of having a CD collection to rival Joel's ...

Never let it be said that I won't help my friends out when they need me.

[livejournal.com profile] doggiesushi is getting to the end of years of CD purging (and I am not kidding about the "years" part), so I offered to just tell him whether or not the last of them were bad or good. He challen--er, took me up on it, and I did so, using a super-scientific method of writing the numbers 1-29 on a piece of paper and letting my psychic powers tell me what the verdict would be on each album.

I think he can just use the list, but I have a feeling he'll listen to them all, anyway. Won't he feel silly when all of my predictions are accurate, and he realizes the time he could have saved!

(He was right, I hadn't heard any of those particular albums, but there were some familiar names on the list.)

... what can I say? My tastes are ecclectic!
... and I don't even have any representation for some of the other genres I like. Buddy Rich is the only jazz CD I have (believe it or not), and I'm pretty low on celtic stuff. No country at all. _So_ not enough J-Pop and no Latino pop. :(

You're right though - should just take your list and go with it, but I need that sense of completeness, y'know? I've listened to the other 239874979324875298347952374957 -- why not another 29?
