seldneiI don't really consider myself a Christian, exactly, but I have a good friend who exemplifies all the best aspects of Christianity--love, caring, helping the world be better--and you know what? Jimmy Carter does, too. I submit to you:
The truth is that male religious leaders have had - and still have - an option to interpret holy teachings either to exalt or subjugate women. They have, for their own selfish ends, overwhelmingly chosen the latter.
