I Speak With the Tongue of a Thousand White-Hot Lies!

Today Team Zweeble once again did the Relay for Life.

My dad is a cancer survivor--he had laryngeal cancer in 2004, and then in 2006 they found a tumor in his lung. He is currently cancer-free and just bought my son a set of baby biker pajamas from Bike Week in Daytona. God help us.

My almost-dad is also a cancer survivor. He had colon cancer and is currently cancer-free and recently suggested I melt my father's brain by putting some Nine Inch Nails on the old man's iPod.

So Team Zweeble relays annually.

It was a quiet year this year--the high school that traditionally holds the Relay was destroyed by Hurricane Charley, and this was the first year they could hold it again since then. The track was enormous, and another Relay was going on at the same time, so attendance was not what it could have been. But next year they should have the scheduling and such figured out once more, so that should be good.

So I really don't have any hilarious stories to tell, but I wanted to share the slogans from the two t-shirts I got there. Both are breast cancer awareness shirts; breast cancer specifically is sort of a sideline of my Relay-ing, as I am against all forms of cancer. That said, I have a fondness for breasts and I just had my very first mammogram a few months ago, so perhaps a little focus on the girls is warranted.

Wow, I am tired.

Anyway, the slogans:

"Big or small, let's save them all."

"Don't let cancer steal second base."

They also had, "Squeeze a boob, save a life," which was apparently quite popular with the men.

The Zweeble, in his "Cancer Stinks" t-shirt, was a huge hit. And I am sore in areas I didn't know were used for walking.

And now to bed, before I get loopier.
