aw, man, I want to like it ...

So right now the thing I find really intriguing about Dollhouse is Amy Acker and the scars. And that's really it. Every time she comes onscreen there's tension and mystery; you sense that this woman was an entirely different person not so long ago, and she's hanging on by her fingernails not to completely shred apart. I saw a blog saying she's basically Fred, but I don't think so. Fred was geeky and cute. This character is damaged.
I kind of think that Echo needs to get her memory back completely by episode 4, upending the premise of the series and going in a whole new direction than we were all expecting.
In other TV geekery, I am in love with the Hulu ads. An evil plot to take over the world ... well, there's someplace I need to check out!
That's really about it from me tonight. I had some things I thought I'd write about, but I am sleepy and can't remember them. Sad, sad Laura.

I like my shows full of sci-fi and vampires and things, not real life bad stuff. BUT, after the second episode, I was definitely feeling it a bit more than after the first one. And all the reviews I've read have said to wait it out for a few episodes before deciding because the plot is kind of slow building up.
